What are gout symptom’s and what is the best treatment? and how do I know if I have gout medical condition or just suffer from arthritis? Most of the times gout starts out in a person big toe, but gout symptoms can show up in many other joints in the body like the heel, ankle, knees and fingers.

How does gout affect the body’ s joints? Gout disease is a result of a build up of uric acid in the blood stream. When the body has elevated levels of uric acid it can lead to crystallize in the joints. Uric acid is a by product of purine, and people eating a diet high in purine levels can be the cause of elevated uric acid.

Gout symptom usually first appear at night time when feet usually the big toe becomes swollen and inflamed and tender to the touch.
